Yoga and Mediation Offerings Inspiring Us to Practice at Home
In light of slowing down and staying home, we are highlighting yoga & meditation instructors and studios that are offering solutions to keep you present & grounded or moving mindfully during this time. These instructors are inspiring us and we hope they will inspire you too.
You’ll note we’ve listed both free and paid offerings, with the intention of showcasing accessible options, as well as opportunities to support these teachers who are creating these amazing offerings for us all. Because now is the time to support our wellness community to ensure they are available for us when the time comes.

FREE & PAID OPTIONS
Brea runs the Heart and Bones Yoga Studio, an online studio offering creative classes that are kind to your body, which you can purchase membership for. She also has free resources on her website. And notably right now, Brea is offering daily dance parties on her Instagram Stories - encouraging us all to shake it out!

Dianne’s stance is that yoga benefits all bodies, regardless of their shape, size, age, ethnicity or ability. Dianne has extended her 2-week trial to 4-weeks for her online yoga classes at yogaforeveryone.tv or on the yoga for everyone app. She also has free offerings in her YouTube channel and IGTV.

Gina is going live on Instagram each morning at 9am for a reading from a meaningful text, followed by a guided meditation. She is also creating yoga classes to share with her followers.

In Fine Feather Yoga has a variety of yoga classes available online to purchase, that are yours to keep. If you sign up for their newsletter they are currently providing a link to a free live class, which they record and email out after. You can also check out their IGTV for their pose progression series.

Based in Toronto, Jaffer offers audio classes that you can receive access to by signing up for his newsletter! Classes are easy to follow, all levels and include various styles.

Hoame is a modern meditation studio based in Toronto. They will be posting free meditations to do at home on their IGTV starting this week.

Hali is a yoga philosophy teacher and is guiding 108 chanting every morning at 9:00 am EST. Hali will choose a chant and sing it 108 times, live stream it on Zoom. She also has a yoga philosophy audio series available for purchase on her website.

Join Karen Barber of @yogi.rituals live for quick 10 minute meditations on Instagram every morning while you sit and breathe together.

Sara holds space to meditate, heal, and connect through listening. She is holding virtual soundbaths via IGTV, and has been posting the schedule on her Instagram page.

Diana Lockett is offering daily online yoga classes on her YouTube Channel, and weekly meditation and healing circles via Zoom. She will begin running her YTT on April 3rd and is moving the first weekend to an online platform.
PAID CLASSES
GOODBODYFEEL is offering twice daily live streaming classes. Classes are sliding scale $5 - $20 and students can sign up via Mindbody or the GBF website. They also have a virtual studio with 15 and 30 minute videos.

Jesse Israel offers a unique blend of meditation, community building, and uplifting leadership. He is the founder of The Big Quiet - holding mass meditations in iconic places. Think The American Museum of Natural History, Fenway Park, and Grace Cathedral. Jesse was most recently sharing the stage on tour with Oprah. Find live meditations on Instagram via Jesse and The Big Quiet’s accounts.

Sarah Mariano (you might know her better as The Stretch Therapist) works to help you achieve optimal flexibility, mobility, performance and pain relief. She has built a team of excellent Toronto-based fascial stretch therapists whose goal is to give you the life you deserve. Check out her Instagram for free Stretch Classes on Sundays.
PAID CLASSES
Fit Within has taken their schedule virtual and are offering a variety of classes from Yin and Restorative to Buti to Yang Yin and Yoga Sculpt. Zoom classes can be registered for via MINDBODY - classes are paid, and they are also offering a donation option for different financial circumstances. Keep an eye out for Instagram and Facebook live classes as well!

Angela Jackson is a birth and postpartum doula and is offering prenatal and postnatal yoga and fitness classes on her YouTube channel.

De La Sol Yoga is running classes online daily via Zoom. Students can use existing memberships, class passes, or purchase drop-in Zoom classes via the De La Sol website under the “Hamilton Schedule”. They are also hosting an Instagram community challenge called #DLSStrongerTogether

Ocean and Crow yoga is offering a selection of classes via Facebook Live - including a mix of Hatha, Restorative, Flow, Yin and others. These classes are open to everyone and the schedule can be found on their page.

GoYoga Orangville believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone, and is working to do so these days with moving all of their regularly scheduled classes online on Facebook Live. This is a free service, available to all who need it during this time. They offer a range of yoga styles from meditation to power vinyasa, restorative to kids classes.

Yogashala Waterdown is offering free classes on their Youtube channel. The Yogashala will be offering a variety of different styles of yoga and meditations, please check in daily for new classes. Reminder to set yourself up with your props or other objects around the house that will be useful such as a scarf, tie or towel, pillows, cushions, books or pots. Enjoy your practice!
